As the ivory toned daughter of a red head who didn't inherit her dad’s Egyptian complexion, I’ve always been the suncare specialist amongst my friends. I’ll give you a hand with that spot you can’t reach and remind you it’s time to reapply. 

There was one part of my almost seamless ritual, however, that seemed to always be forgotten – my head.

It wasn’t until one day when I returned home from another festival with a red hue radiating heat from the part in my hair *again* that the stars aligned and it became so clear there was a pretty major missing piece in my daily routine.

As someone with a once-twice a week hair wash schedule, the thought of slathering my clean hair in thick, white sunscreen just did not work for me.

Of course, UV resistant products are only one part of an effective suncare routine and you should always pair them with a hat, headscarf or some shade but there is no such thing as too much protection and those options alone were not working for me.

I started working on this idea in October 2021 and now after a long journey, I'm so excited to have the UV Head Veil out in the world.
